Our CSR Commitments
We place the environment and people at the heart of every decision.
Each Birdies Villa is designed to promote biodiversity and to be part of a sustainable, responsible and measurable approach.
Eco-responsible design certified PEFC
We are committed to preserving forests and biodiversity.
All the wood used to manufacture Birdies Villas is PEFC-certified, guaranteeing:
✔️ Systematic replanting of harvested trees
✔️ Responsible forest and timber management
✔️ Respect for protected species and local wildlife
✔️ Fair working conditions for wood industry professionals
Only products from PEFC-certified forests and controlled production chains may carry this label. By acquiring a Birdies Villa, you support responsible forest resource management and actively contribute to environmental protection.
Inclusive production in partnership with workers with disabilities
Birdies Villa is committed to supporting people with disabilities.
We collaborate with ESAT “Le Parmelan”, a specialized establishment that supports people with disabilities through meaningful industrial subcontracting work.
As part of this partnership, ESAT workers assemble each component into modules, facilitating the final assembly of the giant birdhouses. A social commitment that matters deeply to us and adds even more meaning to our creations.
A unique innovation:
the first multi-species birdhouse allowing multiple nestings
The Birdies Villa is the first birdhouse allowing several nestings within the same season, offering birds optimal hosting conditions regardless of their species.
🔸 17 individual chambers in varying sizes, all separated by 4 cm of wood, adapted to different species, with specific entrance diameters.
🔸 360° access, allowing total installation flexibility.
🔸 An exceptional occupancy rate: in 90% of cases, we have observed several successive nestings within the same Birdies Villa. Some host up to 7 bird families per year!
Even our display model, installed in full sun in front of our workshop along one of the busiest national roads in France, hosts two nestings each year.
An unmatched lifespan, a birdhouse that can be reconditioned indefinitely
Designing sustainably also means anticipating maintenance, repair and long-term evolution. Our birdhouses are conceived to last for years without human intervention. Thanks to their robust design and rot-resistant materials, the Birdies Villa remains a reliable and secure habitat for the birds in your garden.
🔹 Some owners appreciate its natural aging, while others prefer it to retain its original appearance. For this reason, each birdhouse can be sanded, oiled, stained or varnished as many times as desired. The roofs are removable and can be repainted or replaced at will.
🔹 All chambers of the Birdies Villa are accessible via the roofs or through hatches allowing thorough cleaning with water and sponge.
🔹 This light maintenance can be carried out by the owner between September and November, but we can also offer a maintenance service starting from the 5th anniversary of your Birdies Villa.
During maintenance, we carry out a complete cleaning and sanding of the structure and post before sealing any cracks. A protective finish is applied in three coats, and the roofs are inspected or replaced.
As this work is spread over a week, we are required to bring the birdhouses back to our workshop. We therefore offer to install a reconditioned Birdies Villa at your location at the same time we collect yours, which will then be reinstalled in a garden after its restoration.
Clean installation, without impact on your land and fully reversible
Your Birdies Villa is installed by us, on a clear-weather day, to guarantee optimal conditions.
✅ Guidance on orientation and placement
We assist you in choosing the best positioning to optimize attractiveness for birds.
✅ Fixation without concrete or heavy ballast
No concrete anchoring or heavy counterweights are used. We prioritize a light and movable installation to keep your Birdies Villa perfectly upright:
The hotel mast is mounted on a powder-coated steel base, itself connected to a ground anchoring system reaching a depth between 75 and 120 cm.
The Birdies Villa is then lifted and installed using a portable mini crane.
✅ An essential recommendation after installation
It is important to allow the Birdies Villa to integrate calmly into its environment and not disturb the birds as soon as they begin building their nest.
A visible, traceable and shareable commitment thanks to a scannable stainless steel QR plaque
Each Birdies Villa has a unique serial number, enabling identification, location and long-term monitoring.
Each model is also equipped with a durable stainless steel plaque, integrated into the structure and engraved with a unique QR code.
By scanning this QR code, anyone can access a dedicated discovery page allowing them to:
understand the Birdies Villa project and its mission
discover the importance of birds and their decline
locate installed Birdies Villas via an interactive map
share the project via the website or social media
Each share made from this discovery page contributes €1 to the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds), supporting concrete biodiversity protection actions.
This system transforms each Birdies Villa into:
a visible landmark in the landscape
an educational tool accessible to all
a connection point between citizens, territories and wildlife protection
A transparent and measurable commitment, allowing the real impact of each installation to be monitored and valued.
With Birdies Villa, you choose a durable, responsible and innovative habitat, designed to offer a true refuge for birds while respecting the environment and promoting French artisanal craftsmanship.
